The truth is, you may be thinking weeks, months, even years in advance about when the right time to sell is. A job change, more or less room needed, dream home construction just to name a few, can all generate your desire to move.
You’ll have a hint about you needing and wanting to sell. What do you do when that time comes?
I could tell you to hire an agent, have showings, look at offers, and close. I’m not going to do that. If you do that, you will skip the most important step.
If you don’t map out your selling journey, you’re just going to get lost.
When you first think about selling, it’s a great idea to meet with an agent. You don’t have to hire them. They’ve gone through this before and they can help you lay it all out and put a plan in place.
So what does this look like?
Start with WHY you are looking to sell. Do you want to pull the equity you’ve built up? Use that money to buy another property? Is space just not what it needs to be? Maybe you inherited a property and have no use for it.
Whatever the WHY is, you still need to start here. When you start breaking down your WHY you go through all of your fears, problems, and desires.
Before I help any client sell their property, we put pen to paper and sketch our route. Are you ready to map out your path?
Please let me know if there is anything in the world I can do for you.
